Salt air and Seaweed Baths

February found us waist-deep in a seaweed bath, watching the sun sink slowly into the sea.

We visited North Wales salt producers Halen Môn, and spent an evening at their coastal home in Anglesey, immersed in one of their traditional seaweed baths. The water was beautifully warm, mineral-rich and restorative, the kind that seeps into your bones and softens the edges of winter.

As we soaked, the sky shifted from pale gold to inky blue and we watched the light fade over the sea. There was something wonderfully elemental about it - salt, sea, warmth and horizon, a gentle reminder of how deeply place can shape experience.

It was simple, grounding and quietly spectacular. The kind of moment that lingers long after you’ve stepped out of the barrel.
